Barb Veder has spent over 23 years as senior clinical leader with Morneau Shepell. As Vice President of Global Clinical Services and Research Lead, Barb oversees the company’s national and global network of clinical professionals and is accountable to ensuring the clinical quality and operations of the EAP services.
Having headed up the team that developed North America’s first EAP Smartphone application (My EAP), Barb is extensively involved in Morneau Shepell’s digital clinical innovation. She is committed to the development of global clinical best practices, resources, and innovative support for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
Barb holds a Masters of Social Work from Wilfred Laurier University. She is widely recognized for her clinical expertise, published research, and counselor education initiatives, and presents on digital behavioral health innovation at conferences around the globe.
Barb is currently an active board member with EARF (Employee Assistance Research Foundation) and EAPA (Employee Assistance Professionals Association).
