Gambling Help Line Services

Primary and back-up Toll-Free Help Line services are available 24/7 for gambling and immediate crisis intervention. Callers receive convenient and clinically appropriate referrals sensitive to geographic, demographic, multi-lingual and multi-cultural needs.

Call to Change Case Management Services
Call to Change is an enhanced case management/relapse prevention support program for gamblers. BDA’s Call to Change program is designed to provide gamblers with additional support beyond the initial assessment, crisis management and referral offered through a traditional help line.

A significant percentage of clients who call gambling help lines are not able to attend self-help group meetings or counseling sessions for financial or geographic reasons. For these clients, initial efforts to change their gambling behavior may fail due to lack of external support for their efforts. In addition, many individuals who are motivated to change their gambling behavior and commit to a recovery program may benefit from additional support in their early efforts to maintain abstinence from gambling.
