Policy Development and Review
For employers beginning a new program
- consultation with employers regarding scope and direction of proposed program;
development of draft policy and supporting programs; review of legal and other
requirements and identification of third party providers as necessary, identifying
training requirements and criteria; and, establishing employee communication
requirements.
For employers with an existing program - review of policy
to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations and with current "good
practice;" review of training requirements for employees, supervisors and
senior management; review of current program providers; review of Federal and
state regulatory responses; and, review of the employee communications efforts.

Briefings to senior management on trends in business and industry, regulatory
requirements and outlook, an overview of the employer's program and its comparison

Peter B. Bensinger
has testified on matters pertaining to policy, program implementation, and administrative
standards in over 30 arbitrations, administrative hearings and court cases.
Robert L. DuPont, M.D.,
BDA Senior Vice President and Medical Director has testified in over 50 instances
regarding the effect of drugs on human beings, drug testing results, and medical
review issues. Larry B. Howard, BDA chief toxicologist has testified in over
300 cases regarding issues of forensic toxicology. Other BDA associates who
are physicians, toxicologists, and health-care managers have also testified
in court and arbitration hearings.
Teleconferences
Current BDA clients are invited to join periodic teleconferences on subjects
related to workplace drug prevention programs. These teleconferences are moderated
