BDA offers a range of products designed to help employers establish and manage
workplace drug and alcohol testing programs which are technically and forensically
sound, protect the rights of the applicant and employee, and also protect the
rights of the employer. BDA has over 20 years of experience with over 500 large
and small employers in providing the range of services listed below.
Medical Review
Medical review of urine and hair drug tests are performed by certified medical
review officers (MRO) with extensive experience in addictions and government
regulations. Medical review includes confidential contact with donors by the
MRO, verification of all medical and dental treatments which may affect a drug
test, review of laboratory reports for scientific accuracy, prompt turn-around
time and notification of results to management, records management and secure
records maintenance.
Collection Certification
Drug testing program collection procedures, facilities and personnel are evaluated
under current regulatory and Bensinger, DuPont and Associates (BDA) criteria.
Programs would be reviewed to ensure that all regulatory and good practice criteria
are met and that all collectors have received specific collection training and
are certified as required. Collection sites will receive BDA Certification certificates.
Management of Random
Testing Programs
Managed program which provides turn-key administration of random testing programs.
Program includes data base development administration, updating, and verification,
selection strategies, multiple random testing program support, scheduling of
tests, efficient test scheduling, generation of reports, and cost-tracking.
Evaluation of On-Site
Testing Devices
BDA will evaluate new and existing on-site testing devices for reliability,
sensitivity, and reaction to major adulterants. BDA has conducted reliability
and sensitivity test on more than 15 on-site devices since 1997. All testing
is conducted by board certified forensic toxicologists with extensive experience
in drug testing.
Evaluation of New Testing Technology
BDA will evaluate new technologies for sensitivity, reliability, ease of use,
reaction to possible adulterants, and legal implications of use.
